"Fishing report for Bass on Lake Marburg"

Trip date - 4/9/01

Start time - 11:30 am.
End time - 3:30 pm.

Weather conditions - Clear at start changing to partly cloudy.
Air temp - high 70's to 80 degrees.
Wind - brisk from the north west.
Barometric pressure - 29.70 and falling (at 11:00 am).

Water temp - Main lake 45 degrees. Area fished - 50 degrees.
Water clarity - Main lake clear. Area fished - cloudy.

Area fished - Chapel Cove (first cove to the right traveling south on 216 before the first bridge).

Best baits - Small white and chartreuse spinnerbait with gold willow (on end) and chrome colorado. 6" Berkley Flip'n-tail Power Worm.

Fish caught - 2 on spinnerbait. Lost 2 on power worm.
Average size - 13".
Largest - 15 1/2".

Additional notes - Fished baits very slowly. On of the two fish lost was because the fish only had the tail. The other was due to nick in line. Note to self - check line more often.

Remember... "they call it fishing, but the goal is catching."
