Due to delays in the final stages of the product development process, Minn Kota's Universal Sonar system on select trolling motors will not be available to consumers in January 2001 as originally planned.
Minn Kota expects
to have the Universal Sonar available for the 2002 tackle season. Minn
Kota's agreement to make Universal Sonar compatible with the products
of major fishfinder manufacturers (Lowrance, Techsonic, Garmin and Computrol)
continues as is.
